I am an experienced researcher with expertise in military and aviation history. Through my work as a PhD student and military historian with a degree in War Studies, I have acquired extensive archival and desk-based research skills, as well developing a wide net of contacts. While much of my research has been academic in nature, I have a keen eye for a good story and a passion for sharing this knowledge in engaging and accessible ways. My TV experience includes historical and archival research, idea development, commentary writing, archive sourcing, and arranging access and contributors. In 2021 I was selected for the prestigious Edinburgh TV Festival PhD talent scheme, which aims to develop the skills of doctoral students interested in a career in the TV industry. Read Less
