Ideas are my speciality, and I am always multitasking on several major multi-million dollar series
at any one time. In the past, I have created some of the largest (if not the largest) high-profile
documentary series on British and International Television, including: I Shouldn’t Be Alive (Discovery
Channel, now in its sixth series). Other achievements include, Swimming Paralympics’ Champion and World Record Holder (400m freestyle). I am passionate about helping other disabled people into the industry, mentoring and helping
others. As a journalist I have had many articles published many articles. What makes me unique is my intensity and commitment to the full story - I make news and international headlines, as well as landmark documentaries.BBC trained, I worked on the flagship strand Horizon for many years, including the year it won the Royal
Television Society award (that year I personally developed 5 of the ideas to air). Prior to that was a
reporter and producer for BBC Radio 4. In the independent sector, I was Head of Development (and
Producer/Director) at blue-chip companies including Darlow Smithson, Blakeway and Cicada Films.
During my year with Darlow Smithson, 50 hours of television were commissioned; Cicada had its most
successful year; Blakeway moved into international commissioning (NOVA/National Geographic).
