A curious, ambitious and versatile Director/Producer with extensive factual and narrative storytelling experience across genres and internationally. Former East Africa Correspondent for Deutsche Welle (DW).

As an experienced Director/Producer, I have a strong track record in film, art and music production and directing, both remotely and in the field. My client list includes renowned names such as CNN, Deutsche Welle, the Arts Council England, The British Museum, Royal Albert Hall, Trippin, and WeTransfer. Throughout my years of working professionally in TV journalism, I have gained valuable transferable skills that enable me to adapt to diverse communities, customs, and cultures across the globe. As a correspondent and East Africa bureau chief for Germany's largest international broadcaster, DW, I have covered significant news events like post-election violence in Zimbabwe in 2018, the 2019 revolution in Sudan, extrajudicial killings in Kenya, and the rehabilitation of Al-Shabaab in Somalia.
