I am an experienced Health and Safety technician looking to bring my unscripted TV location knowledge and treatment-writing experience into the Editorial realm as a researcher. I am passionate about WWII and maritime history, science, anthropology, and the human condition in a changing world. I'm just as happy 30 metres underwater on a wreck recce or devouring page after page of historical documents to chase a compelling story.At the development stage I have created, researched and written several full treatments and one-pager pitches. I have recce'd, researched and carried out fieldwork in remote Alaskan locations and delivered timely technical reports for publication. I endeavour to seek and find the delicate interface between humans and our world.I would like to combine reconnaissance with archival research and writing to develop ideas and build sink-your-teeth-into stories.Qualifications and Experience: ~B.A., (April 2009) University of Alaska Southeast, Major: Social Sciences; Emphasis: Anthropology ~HSE Professional SCUBA Commercial diver and PADI open water dive instructor with a focus on commercial diving in support of scientific, archaeological and media projects. ~RYA Powerboat 2 license. ~Wilderness First Responder experienced in remote Alaskan wilderness and dive rescue. ~Experienced TV crew health and safety technician and commercial dive tender. ~Part 107 certified drone operator. ~Competent in a variety of commercial dive hats including Kirby Morgan Band Mask, Cressi Pegasus, and AGA Divator TWC. ~Dives conducted in the Caribbean Sea, Northern Alaska, Hawai’i, the Salish Sea, and UK waters. ~Boat operator/crew with documented sea time on the Caribbean nearshore, Northwest Salish Sea, and UK waters.
