Hello, My name is Alex Kisby, I'm a MA film graduate from the University for the creative arts. I also have a BA in Animation. During my time at university, I learned a great deal about film production and gained a lot of practical experience, for instance, I wrote and directed my own short film; Waitology: The Science Of Waiting, a comedy parody of 1950s educational reels, and produced another short film. The Legend Of Curt Runaway, an action-comedy. The latter of which involved getting location permission, organising travel for cast and crew, and obtaining a child actors licence.Additionally to my work with film production I also have a number of personal side projects, such as writing and drawing my own series of online comics and taking experimental photography with a Gameboy camera. These side projects allow me to explore different creative avenues and try out new ideas, that I can then reapply to my main work.I enjoy working collaboratively, and the ideas that come from creative discussions with others. Part of what drives my creativity is the history of film. Learning from the styles and trends of the past. I enjoy mixed media and combining ideas to create something new and unique. Read Less
