My name is Lydia Pappa and I am interested in finding a job as a Nuke Compositor. I entered the world of VFX two years ago, when I decided to apply for Compositing & VFX at Yafka School in Athens. There, I was taught about the theory of compositing and I took classes in Nuke for 9 months. During this period I had the opportunity to work in real footage and learn all aspects of compositing using NukeX. Due to my previous studies in Product Design, I had accomplished to develop knowledge on the use of Adobe programs as long as 3D programs so learning Nuke felt familirar. Since then, I have gained some small experience as a freelancer, working on a music video and some corporate videos, as long as I was working on personal projects in order to create my showreel. Simultaneously, working on a Film Production Company in Athens gave me the chance to work on set and be close to VFX Supervisors in order to understand the importance of the preparation of the shooting.I am a hard worker, highly focused on paying attention to detail and with a mindset that there is always a solution! Also, I am creative, innovative and full of energy person that always seeks new challenges.
