Alongside studying at the University of Bristol, I built a network of clients who continue to come to me for video production that takes a fresh approach to building emotional connections with audiences. Too often, video producers follow established formulas to make safe, but uninspired products. By drawing from experience in a range of genres and formats, with creative and technical skills covering pre-production, production, and post-production, I’ve helped clients build content and campaigns that go beyond communicating only the required information, to truly reach the hearts and minds of viewers.Thanks to this work, I have 5 years of professional experience in content creation, with technical skill being central to my work. In production technologies, I am an experienced cinematographer with knowledge of different camera systems, formats, codecs, sound recording technologies and all necessary areas of digital video technology, as well as in post-production where I also have 5 years of professional experience as an editor and colourist. Expertise in each of these areas is backed up by a strong theoretical grounding in filmmaking theory and tech from my degree course and continuous self-teaching to stay on top of the latest developments.I am very comfortable communicating and working in a professional environment thanks to my experience as a freelancer video producer. I have worked with clients from schools and hospitals, to bands and directors, helping each to understand the technical requirements of the projects they commission from me, so that I can create the best work for them with maximum efficiency and smooth integration of the production process into their normal functioning.
