Hi, I'm Nick and I am a TV Researcher with over 3 years of experience of working in the industry.

Most of my roles have been location based, working closely with PDs, APs and other Researchers. This experience has given me a chance to work with all types of camera, lighting and sound kit, working with contributors, scouting locations, being able to problem solve and deal with schedule changes on the fly.

I am no stranger to office based roles too, working with Series Producers and Directors by researching stories, archive trawls, general ring arounds and taking part in editorial meetings. I also know how to data wrangle, prep most kinds of kit, create easy to read spreadsheet logs and in the past I have worked with high profile talent on location shoots and in the studio. 

My goal is to develop my understanding and skills with camera kit, and the editorial process, to become a self-shooter and gradually work my way up to Producer/Director level. I have shooting experience on the Sony FX6/FX9/A7S shooting GVs and B-Roll but I am always eager to learn more and devlop my skills.
