Hi, I'm Nick and I am a Shooting Researcher with over 4 years of experience of working in the industry.

I have a strong technical aptitude, espcially shooting experience on the Sony FX6/FX9/A7S shooting GVs and B-Roll while also working with high profile talent, cast and contributors, scouting locations, being able to problem solve and work around with schedule changes on the fly.

Most of my roles have been location based, working closely with PDs, APs and other Researchers but I have also worked with Series Producers and Directors by researching stories, social media/archive trawls, background checks, phone bashing and taking part in editorial meetings. I also know how to set up locations for master interviews, boom operate, data wrangling and management, creating/updating/maintaining data and kit spreadsheet logs.

My goal is to develop my understanding and improve my skills operating cameras and my editorial knowledge to work my way up to Producer/Director level.
