Read MoreI am a comfortable and capable television production allrounder, with experience from content development and research to camera operation. I also have my own Sony FS7 kit, lighting, audio and accessories. I have a full passport, twenty plus years worldwide media work experience and full clean driving license - I have also worked with high end talent for several years now.I have recently been working for Stellify Media on a factual entertainment series for BBC Scotland. This started out as a purely Production Runner / Driver role, but developed to include unit stills, camera assistance, transcription, location scouting and lots and lots of research. My three and a half month contract with them came to an end in October. Since then I have worked as a driver / production runner / camera assistant for Raise The Roof Productions in Wales and England for 'A Country Life for Half the Price', followed by 'The Big Scottish Book Club' and 'Scotland's Christmas Home of the Year' for IWC Media. Throughout November I worked as a Camera Operator and Self-Shooting AP on an hour long COP26 climate documentary for Manoto TV / Marjan Television Network. This is my most prestigious television credit to date.I have a can-do attitude and consider no job beneath me - I am as open to working as a runner, as stepping up to a researcher and AP role. I have a master's degree in factual television from the University of Stirling and have been one of the UK's most prominent stills / sports photographers for over a quarter of a century. I can assist productions with promotional and unit stills and also make a mean cup of tea. Prior to my masters I studied HND Creative Industries: Television at Glasgow Clyde College - whilst there my short film (‘The Bo’ness Belle’) picked up an RTS Scotland Award.
It is my ambition is to become a self-shooting PD - therefore I consider every role as an opportunity to progress my career and ultimately help me achieve this.
