https://emmalepuil.wixsite.com/portfolioHere is a bit more detail about my situation: I went through the Technicolor Academy in Montreal last year, got trained using Katana with Renderman and Nuke to precomp my renders within the MPC Pipeline.Sadly, just before hitting the floor and being dispatched to one of the show they were working on at the time, Covid happened, and the whole academy was furloughed in March 2020. I had to go back to France because my visa was expiring, and my work permit was tied to Technicolor, so couldn't work for any other studio in Montreal.Jump forward to a few weeks ago, I was offered a Lighting Artist position back to MPC Montreal for a 10 month contract due to start in April ...but immigration played against me, and my visa was refused at the border, so I literally took a plane to Montreal with all my suitcases and my cat just to come back home the next week.Despite the start of my journey, I remain motivated and determined to finally have full on experience in a lighting department, and that is why I am sending you my application today.I would be delighted to deepen the conversation in an interview if you think my profile could matches your criteria!Cheers,Emma Read Less
