I am a proactive, detail-oriented Researcher with 5 years of factual TV experience, passionate about psychology and the arts. 3 years in development, almost 2 in production. 

Experienced in exploring complex areas such as science, trauma and disability inclusion through rigorous research and sensitive engagement with contributors in documentaries. I am organised, excellent with time management, comfortable working in high intensity environments and camera operating. 

I’m particularly interested in combining craft and science communication, using storytelling to support research and expand creative practice. Alongside my work in editorial, I conduct psychological/ cognitive scientific research on AI use in the TV industry. I love working on projects where I am able to develop stories advocating for more diverse representation on screen. I especially enjoy developing character-driven documentaries across a variety of genres that hone in on human stories and lean on wider commentary. The creativity behind science communication is something I am always striving to learn more about. 

Having specialised in cinematography on my Film Production BA, I am comfortable self shooting, working with cinema-grade lights, camera equipment, and have experience handling 8mm and 16mm film. Cameras I have trained with include: Sony Fs700, Fx7; Fx9, Canon C300mk1 & 2, DSLRs, GoPros, Blackmagic pocket cinema, Blackmagic Ursa mini, Blackmagic Ursa, ARRI SRIII and the Bolex. 

In my spare time, I enjoy developing and self-shooting documentary shorts, as well as learning extensively about psychology, philosophy, art and science. I am also in a dance crew, love travelling, adventure sports and learning languages. I also frequently participate in urban sketching/ portraits in different cities.
