I am a series producer, showrunner, and series director with BAFTA, Grierson and RTS awards and a passion for people and storytelling. I series produced and directed Save Our Squad: David Beckham, Disney Plus' first major push into factual, and 3 series of Long Lost Family for ITV. My role on SOS involved changing the initial production approach and building a team capable of delivering intimate human stories in conjunction with the scale of a truly landmark series for Disney, led by global talent and directing multi camera set ups. On LLF I evolved the format working with commissioners and delivered one hour specials. I still love to direct when the opportunity arrises. In previous roles i have PD'ed prime-time series, focusing on observational and formatted documentaries for ITV, BBCs Two and Four and Sky. I've also worked on rig shows including Channel Four's First Dates and ITV's Transformation Street. Other specialisms include, securing access in sensitive and challenging circumstances, maintaining trusting relationships with contributors, managing large teams, clear editorial judgement and nurturing upcoming production talent.
