Andreas Aristodimou is a visual artist specialising in model making and stop motion animation as well as illustration. He completed his bachelor in Illustration in Birmingham City University (2015-2018). There he learned a variety of techniques to visually communicate. For example screen printing, sculptural illustration as well as 2D illustration by using traditional materials, creating different textures, mixing and editing them finally by using Adobe Photoshop. The last summer before his final year he made his first stop motion animation short film which was a personal project while being at Kimonos Art Centre. After that he fully committed his final year working with stop motion animation in many different roles, ending up completing another two short films in one year's duration. Later, he continued his studies on stop motion animation specialising in puppet making by studying a one-year master's degree at Arts University Bournemouth (2018-2019) Through that year he worked as an assistant animator in another stop motion animation short film. At the same time, he worked on his personal projects, learning puppet making techniques used in the stop motion animation industry such as moulding and casting with silicone, resin and foam. After the completion of his degree he moved to Bristol where he started working as a freelancer.​ Read Less
