Good TV is about telling stories in the most compelling way.  With emotion, humour and tonnes of entertaining content, in well-crafted narratives.

That’s what I do.

I was Creative Director & Head of Programmes for Shine TV 2012-2024. I devised and sold formats globally, including The Island, BAFTA winner, and Banged Up, BAFTA nominated.

I also co-devised numerous formats including Hunted – a BAFTA nominated global hit,  and The Heist, an RTS winner. I’ve consulted on international versions of Hunted – e.g. in the US for CBS.

I also have many years’ experience in observational documentary making and comedy factual programming. I have only worked for a handful of production companies, as when I like a place, I stay there – and get my talented teams to join me. TV is a team game. Read Less
