Although I am open to any role within the Film and Television industry, receptive to learning but also a hard working individual, I consider writing and acting to be my goals. As a writer, I write a regular film blog on films I have seen called See This If, a blog I created for cinephiles to help recommend films and create a two way talking film community that embraces equality and a love of film simultaneously. I have also written screenplays and fiction with a view to writing more.The project I am most proud of to date is a screenplay I wrote while studying for my masters which was produced as a film by a group of Chinese students. Although the focus of the film was how to deal with low self confidence and talking to members of the opposite sex, I wrote the screenplay with the mindset of making sure it could be filmed on a low budget and that it was open to interpretation by the filmmakers, as I wanted them to show off their abilities to a larger audience. I enter writing contests here and there to keep the habit up.Acting wise, I perform on stage and on camera. I regularly search for opportunities to do so and willing to do small parts if it means I can network with people.I also present and love being a presenter. For my film blog, I presented to camera for a little while video reviews of films I had recently seen (usually theatrical releases). I also hosted my own film radio show on student radio and most recently was asked on as a guest in a popular podcast talking about popular films some people may not have seen. It is often commented by others my confidence in presenting and I would like to pursue this venture more. Read Less
