HelloMy name is Niall Scott, I am an animator with 5+ years experience in animation, over four of which were in studio and the rest in freelance. I am also a practicing illustrator with the eventual aim to equip myself with the skills needed to pitch new IP, or creatively inform existing ones.My creative interests have always been broad and I am very much keen on an opening that offers the chance to put all my animation, illustration, design and storytelling skills to the test, which I have maintained through my career through practice and application, professionally and independently.At the earliest stages of my career, I worked to produce, from start to finish, animated pieces for Komodo Maths, which included the need to design and rig assets and BGs, edit and composite footage and liaise with the company's founder to keep things on brand, matching and exceeding expectation.As an animator in Jam Media, I worked on numerous productions, 2D and 3D, in various software (Adobe Animate, Toonboom, Maya), each of which had distinct visual styles, in some cases learning software on the job, on shows for CBBC, Nick Jnr, Amazon Prime and beyond. These shows include Little Roy, Becca's Bunch, Jessy and Nessy, Aha! Island, and various other pilots and shorts.Most currently I have been engaging in a mixture of freelancing, pitching and developing my skills further.
