Excellent story teller, with up to the minute skills including editing on Blackbird, used to making quality shows within tight budgets during these challenging times.  Experienced in directing on location, developing new formats, working with talent and overseeing all aspects of post production. Alongside my production work I offer TV production training for the industry delivering courses in person and online for ScreenSkills, DV Talent, BBC Academy and Screen Scotland.

* I've managed and delivered successful, high rating films on a wide variety of topics from engineering, to mental health issues and historical subjects.

* I'm a true all-rounder: my work combines creativity and visual flair with a high level of organisation, and also a rigorous approach to content.

* I've set up and directed filming in challenging locations both in the UK and overseas.

* I enjoy writing scripts as well as honing commentary.

* I'm also practical: a highly organised and reliable producer, coming in on time and within budget.

* I'm BBC-trained so highly proficient at Health & Safety planning and management on location.

* I have made many productions with major US co-producers (Discovery, PBS, and TLC) so am well-versed in the skill of making several versions at once.
