Most notably, I was the sole researcher on Ocean with David Attenborough, the most successful documentary globally in 2025. Other credits include Our Story with David Attenborough (an immersive experience for the Natural History Museum), America's National Parks (Nat Geo), America the Beautiful (Disney+), and Queens (Disney+). Underdogs and Sentient (both for Disney+) were also successfully commissioned during the time I was the Researcher on Wildstar's Development Team. I am currently working on Blue Planet III at the BBC.
I have a wealth of experience in pre-production and development, and I am passionate about telling thought-provoking and powerful stories. I have set up and directed Cineflex, human, macro tank, dive, long lens, interview (studio and in the field) and drone shoots from a range of remote polar, hostile and studio locations, including Antarctica and West Africa. I work sensitively with contributors across the globe to ensure they are at ease and can deliver powerful interviews. On location, I am responsible for all logistics, releases, kit, media offloads, BTS stills photography, and sound recording. I have also supported multiple films through post-production as a core member of the edit team and I have edited multiple short-form impact films.
National Geographic have complimented my fact-checked scripts as being a 'pleasure to read' and Tom McDonald has personally praised me for the 'breadth of research' in Ocean with David Attenborough.
I am a biologist with a First-Class degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Durham, where I specialised in animal behaviour, ecology and climate change. I am also proudly queer and have run numerous Pride companies for the companies I work in, striving to make the industry more inclusive. My desire for inclusivity also stretches beyond work, and I help run a non-profit bikepacking bag rental service called Loop Bikepacking, which increases accessibility to bikepacking for all.
