Since completing my undergraduate degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and a Masters in Creative Writing at the University Of Manchester I have been working full time as a content writer, first for Backland Media and then for Diply. During my time in these positions I have worked to create a wide range of content from covering breaking news articles to creating human interest engagement content for social media pages such as Aunty Acid, Little Church Mouse, Grumpy Old Gits, and Diply. I have also worked on the short film "The Quality Of Mersey" which can be viewed for free on YouTube and have limited experience working as a script editor - but I am very keen to grow in this area.I am also a published poet who has performed as a featured poet at the Everyman Theatre and have had short stories published in places such as The Manchester Anthology For New Writing and Ad Alta: The Birmingham Literary Journal. I was also shortlisted for the Oxford Flash Fiction Prize 2021 for my short story "The Ocean He Poured Inside" and was longlisted for the Wergle Flomp Humour Poetry Prize in 2018 for my poem "A Bang Average Love Poem."
