Art is how we as people reach out to the world. I believe that all of us lives the desire, in some way shape or form,  to scream into the void of collective human consciousness.

"Hey you bastards, I'm here and I've got something to tell you!"

But so I've learned, nobody is an island unto themselves. You need someone to stand next to the void and scream alongside you.
