A graduate from UCA Farnham and UCA Epsom. I studied Animation with a particular focus on Stop Motion at Degree level and Creative Education at a Postgraduate level.My short animations made during my degree: 'One Too Many', 'Munchies' and 'Tone Death' have won awards in film festivals worldwide. Whilst my postgraduation film 'Isolation Celebration' made during the UK Lockdown period is currently making its way around the film festival circuit.Whilst freelancing I have worked part-time as a Sessional Workshop provider with the University for the Creative Arts (2017-current), at Hoobynoo as an Assistant Creative Marketer and Product Designer (2018-20), and as a Project Artist with the Turner Contemporary (2018-19).I am looking for creative experience in a stop motion studio or puppet making workshop within the UK. Whilst still at university, I was fortunate to get work experience at A+C Studio in Margate as a model maker in the summer of 2016. I returned to the studio the following summer for odd projects as a freelancer to take up some model making and help run some stop motion workshops which continued the following summer in 2017.Artistic influences include Aardman, Tim Burton, Brothers Quay, and Robert Morgan.My obsession for stop motion stemmed from watching Wallace and Gromit a 'Grand Day Out' when I was really young on a recordable VHS tape. I saw that Gromit had a fingerprint on his nose and I realised this story was made by hand and I wanted to do that too.In my spare time, I also make quirky jewellery based on Lego pieces and other unusual designs as well as converting cross stitch patterns for knitted jumpers!
