I Actually lived my childhood between the two countries, so I became used pretty quick to cultural contrast and change. In my career I am a global designer who worked in several positions in the industry, and which experience allowed me to gain competences that I apply to new jobs: From craftsmanship to multimedia arts.In the last few years I’ve developed more professional costuming skills: I learned leather craftsmanship, textile techniques, and to create with vintage knitting machine dresses that I sold online and to boutiques through my Sustainable fashion brand. In my desire to be prepared for Costume department work I even study for 1 year cinema direction to learn about visual language and its connection with it.When I design a shoe, a belt or dress I imagine who is wearing it, what feeling, and I see him or her having a life with it. To me costume design is a language that expresses a time, emotion, or a circumstance that that character is living through. All that can be shown using a rough handwoven linen fabric, washed several times to underline the character's uninterest in life and or his humble origins. That deep psychological work fascinates me, as i got immersed in Jungian symbology very young. And now?Since last September I have been living in the U.K. under European Settlement status scheme, and collaborating in different projects to acquire more credits and knowledge in the Costume department. If you think we can work together, lets talk.
