Sophia Seymour graduated from the National Film & Television in 2024, where she directed three documentaries, currently screening at BIFA and BAFTA award-qualifying festivals. She directed award-winning film Teranga (Guardian/BBC, 2020) and worked as a producer on documentaries broadcast by Netflix, BBC2 and BBC4. In early 2025, the Guardian released Harvest, a film that confronts her ambivalence towards motherhood. She is currently producing a feature documentary set in Naples that tells the story of mothers who have lost their children to cancer from toxic waste and producing a feature documentary with BAFTA-awarding winning director Ben Anthony for Box to Box Films.
