Trent’s career started in 1996 at Vancouver Film School in the 2D/3D program. His diverse talent's have brought many opportunities in several mediums, one being involved in creating the iPad app (Circa 1948) with artist Stan Douglas funded by the National Film Board of Canada. The project went to several high-profile festivals including Tribeca, and was turned into an immersive stage play Helen Lawrence.Trent was brought on to the Bardel team to help spearhead Bardel’s satellite studio in Kelowna B.C., and ever since, has been integral to its growth of 50 plus artists working in collaboration with headquarters in Vancouver. Currently, as the Animation Director on gen:Lock Season 2 (Rooster Teeth/Bardel), Trent leads several teams and mentors artists, while also helping with Research & Development on incoming shows. Additionally, in 2015, Trent worked on the Emmy awarding winning show Dinotrux (DreamWorks). His unrelenting work-ethic paired with his sense of humour has earned him a notable reputation among his colleagues and clients.In his spare time, Trent is involved in numerous projects, such as collaborating with his wife in artist installations, a hush-hush virtual reality project, and a band/sound collective that creates music using nothing but iPad apps!He also makes a killer plate of nachos.
