I am a professional translator and subtitler with four years of experience in freelance and in-house translating. I hold a masters degree in Specialised Translation (Audiovisual). Having received first-class subtitling training from industry professionals with the most up-to-date technology, I have adopted various essential skills and techniques in translation and subtitling, with some of my modules including subtitling, SDH, website localization, translation for voice-over, scientific and technical translation, and audio description for the blind and partially sighted. I am detail-oriented, proactive, self-driven and quality-focused with my past job roles entailing subtitling, SDH, translation, proofreading and QA. In the past, I have worked for Netflix as a Finnish subtitler and currently work at Apple as a Finnish data translator, providing subtitling services on a freelance basis. I am particularly skilled and experienced in audiovisual translation and subtitling software, with knowledge of both inter- and intralingual subtitling techniques.
