I am a resilient, creative, self-starter with a diverse and versatile portfolio in International broadcast, which spans both production management and editorial roles. I have extensive experience in proactive research to find and develop, challenging, unique and elusive stories, identify contributors and obtaining interviews, and writing editorial and location summaries. On the production management side, my experience includes obtaining filming permits, access to difficult locations, and securing interviews in particularly challenging environments. I have a track record of generating stories and nurturing them from concept to fruition, finding exceptional contributors and locations, and delivering engaging TV/video within budget.I have worked closely with a range of celebrity talent including William Dalrymple, George Alagaiah, Paul Merton, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Shelley King, Jack Osbourne, and Sona Datta.My journalistic skills are of international standard; I have been published in reputed journals like The New Statesman and Himal South-Asian.I have recently relocated to the UK as a trailing spouse, on a Global Talent Visa.
