BAFTA-shortlisted broadcast journalist, producer and documentary-maker, based in London.Previous experience includes input and output producing for ITV News, where I started out as an ITV News Trainee. I then became a production journalist at ITV London where I produced bulletins, the website and social media pages, and worked on longer-form projects such as a 15-minute feature following the conclusion of the Essex lorry deaths trial. Most recently, I have completed a secondment at ITV Calendar in Leeds. Before joining ITV, I was also a planning producer at BBC Breakfast where I pitched and planned segments for the daily programme.I am a BJTC accredited and graduated with a distinction in Television Journalism from City, University of London. For my final project, I produced and reported in a documentary which explored my own mother's attempt to save her self from a terminal cancer diagnosis. This secured me the title of Student Broadcaster of the Year at BBC Radio 4's Student Journalism Awards. The film was also shortlisted for a student BAFTA in the documentary section. Since then, I have created a website to host the documentary, where I also share new interviews with key figures in the cancer space.I am trained in media-law and compliance, and experienced at bulletin writing.
