I am a freelance Producer/Director who specialises in intimate and narrative driven storytelling. I am a confident self-shooter, committed to tackling challenging subjects and telling them in a touching, human and dramatically engaging way. I have a firm foundation in storytelling gained while on the BBC’s Production Training Scheme where I worked across genres and on the development of ambitious and innovative ideas. My first film was shortlisted for a Grierson Best Newcomer Award and I was also selected for the Channel 4 Cutting Edge Director’s Scheme. My first feature film Dying To Divorce was the UK’s official entry into the Oscars and was long-listed for a BAFTA for Outstanding Debut Feature, it was also nominated for Best Documentary at The British Independent Film Awards and won a Golden Nymph Award, a Rockie Award and an Amnesty Award.
