Hello, My name is Katie,I have a great understanding in the role required. I have a lot of experience on set having been an extra and an actor on set myself in TV series and shows such as Vera, The Dumping Ground, Coronation Street and Danny and Mick. My main experience in production is helping to shadow cast and crew at Coronation Street, mainly following the 3rd AD. I have experience as a runner on set for CBBC’s The Dumping Ground and would love to work with you.As a student I am studying screen performance and have directed live episodes on TV for our Film&TV module, allowing me to gain crucial knowledge as to the roles required on set, having worked with the floor runner, sound editor, producer, camera crew and many more.As a camera operator I would consider the composition, framing and movement of the shot type. I would be responding to the director via in person or a radio headset, often using blocking notes to indicate the shot type, practicing in rehearsal. I am used to filming in all kinds of conditions when filming my shorts, therefore I have experience in all types of weather. As I have experience with shot types, framing and angles I would often offer up my own editorial eye suggesting shot types to the producer/ director.I am a very passionate individual, having written and directed my own short films. I am an award winning filmmaker, winning overall best drama at the YPMF RTS. Most recently I worked alongside David Puttnam to produce a short documentary following Covid-19 and the lockdown, I was then awarded a bursary for my final product.Best Wishes Katie Read Less
