Alongside more specialised technical skills I have gained transferable skills which have been applied in my previous positions as an Artist Surfaces Consultant and more recently, Artwork Registrar and Deputy Office Manager.I previously solely planned and run an interactive photography event in The National Waterfront Museum, Swansea, Wales. Alongside this I have displayed my work in a number of exhibitions including ‘What is the Future of Art?’ in the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern and as part of a Graduate Showcase at Oriel Bach, Swansea.I enjoy visiting exhibitions, private views and artist’s talks and regularly participate in creative activities such as life drawing. I’ve taken beginner courses in screen printing, ceramic (wheel throwing) and dark room black and white printing and I have recently set up my own darkroom to experiment with historical printing techniques.
