I'm a highly experienced, award-winning, collaborative and creative producer/director and series producer/director.  I've delivered many long form projects for UK and international networks for over two decades, making single films, episodes of series and entire series.  My ambition is always to make engaging, honest and stylish films and I value positive collaboration towards this goal.  I bring creative leadership, with extensive experience of putting together and leading teams in filming locations across the world as well as office-based and edit/post teams.  I'd describe my work as both jourmalistic and stylish, accurate and imaginative.  I draw on visual and narrative storytelling skills developed over many years and I am experienced in most aspects documentary film-making; from developing beat sheets and writing shooting scripts; to planning premium cinematic series to delivering complex multi-camera location shoots; from working with CGI and animation to negotiating access in complex settings and with vulnerable contributors; to working with actors on reconstruction and factual drama; to setting styles on presenter-led series and delivering self shot, intimate one-off observational films.  I have a special interest in investigative stories rooted in contemporary history but I’m comfortable across all factual and specialist factual genres.  Read Less
