Read MoreI am a seasoned Freelance Camera Operator, Self-Shooting Producer/Director (PD), Drone Operator, Camera Assistant, Stills Photographer and DIT with over 15 years of experience across the broadcast, commercial and corporate sectors. I capture high-quality, dynamic footage using a wide range of broadcast-standard equipment, specialising in gimbal and drone operation to elevate production value. I often take on roles that combine all of these skills and enjoy being a versatile "Swiss Army knife" for any production.
My expertise spans multi-camera studio productions in the UK to single-camera location shoots across the globe, covering genres including entertainment, documentary, reality, sport, food and travel. I've worked on projects for leading broadcasters including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, National Geographic, Discovery, Disney and Amazon Prime, as well as corporate productions for brands including Google, Rolls-Royce, the NHS, NBA, MLB, UNICEF, Age UK, Stannah Stairlifts, AFC Bournemouth, Southampton FC and Lidl.
I hold an I-Visa for work in the United States and am qualified to operate drones throughout the UK, Europe and Australia.
Whether working as part of a large crew or independently in remote locations, I am confident capturing my own sound, managing media and adapting quickly to changing production demands. As a Self-Shooting PD, I take a story-first approach, understanding how to build complete sequences that serve the narrative while developing strong relationships with contributors and talent alike to capture authentic, engaging moments. As a Camera Operator I work closely with Directors and Producers to deliver exceptional footage on time, combining strong technical knowledge with an eye for lighting, composition and visual storytelling.
Before going freelance, I spent ten years at Maddogs Television, a facilities company based in Southampton. During that time, I worked as an in-house Camera Operator and Camera Assistant while also managing the kit room. The role gave me a strong technical foundation and refined my problem-solving, organisational and equipment management skills.
I am available for hire as a Lighting Camera Operator, Self-Shooting Producer/Director, Drone Operator, Camera Assistant, Stills Photographer or DIT. I pride myself on maintaining a calm, positive and approachable attitude on set, helping both cast and crew to feel at ease while ensuring the creative vision is delivered efficiently. I genuinely believe we have one of the best jobs in the world, and I bring that enthusiasm and professionalism to every production.
