I'm an enthusiastic Researcher with recent experience at the BBC, Wild Space and Off the Fence across a wide variety of blue-chip productions. I love speaking with scientists about the details of their research and coming up with creative, engaging and often relatable characters and storylines. I'm also confident working to fast paced deadlines on children's and live television - whether it be finding archive footage of rare species within a day for Steve and Aneeshwar Go Wild, or tracking down a boat to use on a last minute shoot for Springwatch.

I have a specialist knowledge of animal behaviour and conservation, with a first class degree in Biological Sciences from Cardiff University. I have a year experience studying leopard behaviour with Panthera in the Soutpansberg mountains - this involved hiking 20km + days in all weather conditions to camera traps, identifying leopards and analysing the data. Introducing livestock guarding dogs to farms in the area to reduce human-wildlife conflict in the area also developed my passion for science communcation, a skill which I needed while teaching meadow restoration to landowners as a Plantlife trainee. To share the information with a wider audience, I created online videos and a social media presence for the charity. 

I pride myself on my postivity, determination and enthusiasm, even in unhospitable environments or when problems arise. I'm a PADI Rescue Diver, a confident AVID editor and DSLR shooter, and outdoor first-aid trained.
