My name is Olesya Popkova. I am currently studying a Master’s degree in film making at the University of Gloucestershire. During my studies I have gained the passion for editing which includes colour grading, sound and especially in visual effects.I am a Russian student who has been in the UK for five years and have adapted to the English language and can speak it fluently which gave me the skill of bilingual. I have worked to support myself through University in a variety of roles, I have gained good experience with working in fast-paced, high pressure environments working independently or within tight-knitted teams, as well as with high-volumes of paperwork. During my masters I am currently working at the university’s kit store as graduate assistant, my role entails being in charge of booking’s for students, making sure the kit is organised and giving student advice on enquiry of equipment.
