Games industry folk may know from my time as the Games guy at the NFTS (National Film and Television School), a role I held for over six years. In that time I helped establish the course as one of the best in the UK. I have helped almost 50 games showcase at EGX and helped dozens of grads find their place in the industry. Now I'm trying to find a place for me.More recently I was the project coordinator for the Creative Careers Programme Cymru for Creative & Cultural Skills in which I created 28 pieces of careers based digital content for the first ever Digital Discover! week focused on Wales as well as organising online training and a conference for Careers Advisers wanting to learn more about Creative Careers in Wales. This role ended on 1st January 2021.I'm looking to transfer my coordinator skills into the Games industry. My skillset would suit a role in production and I'm looking specifically at Assistant Producer positions with an eye on moving up to a Producer / Project Management role quickly. I'm confident in my abilities but low in studio production experience.I also class myself as a creative writer so I'm more than capable of producing content without using emojis.
