In this role I have been responsible for booking travel, couriers and hotels for upcoming events in the summer such as the Hundred, ODI's and Test matches. This has involved communicating with our booking providers and analysing the best choices of travel and accomodation based on budget, location and facilities. I am looking to take on more Researcher roles to be involved more in the creative side of production. I gained my first experience working as the Guestlist Researcher for the 2023 BBC Sports Personality of the Year, the 70th celebration of the award. This was a diverse and challenging role, working closely with a team of Researchers and Production Management staff. I feel that my previous experience as a logger and Media Manager at BBC Sport, as well as my most recent position as a PMA, has given me the technical and logistical backing to be able to successfully channel my skills into a Researcher role. I have worked on the Beijing Winter Olympics as a logger for the BBC, an experience on a live sporting event that I really enjoyed. I have also worked as a logger and story researcher for Studio Lambert on The Traitors UK and US series 1, 2 and most recently series 3. Working on this show since the very beginning has been an incredible experience and introduced me to working on location and the world of reality TV. My responsibilities on this show include working closely with Story APs and Producers in the gallery to write story notes for reality and format points of the show, as well as identifying any key story moments, flagging any welfare concerns, as well as taking part in story
meetings to discuss developments in ongoing storylines. During the shoot, I also completed paperwork such as daily story handovers, a shoot log and running order. I am a History graduate from the University of Nottingham with a Masters (Distinction) in Production Management for TV, Film, and Digital Media from the University of Salford. I am keen to build a career in production and I am not afraid of long hours and hard work. I have a full, clean, UK driving license and the ability to relocate for work.
