Milla was awarded the prestigious Directing Mentorship at Łódź National Film School in Poland in 2021. With a curious and original eye, she strives to tell multilayered and emotional stories through film.Milla has written and directed multiple short films. Starting out as an award-winning photographer, her work was exhibited across the UK, including at the Tate Modern. She moved to filmmaking in 2020 and has since made a variety of short documentaries and narrative work. Her films has been commissioned by the European Commission and have been selected for international festivals. She has worked on a variety of productions, including for BBC4 and the History Channel, and is an experienced self-shooter. Read Less
