li has over 10 years on set experience & over 20 years as a photographer in general bringing a diverse range of skills & creativity matched with great on set etiquette to any project.After working on documentary, portrait, music industry & commercial commissions he got his Unit Stills break working on high profile music films for artists including Oasis, Kasabian, Kings of Leon, Dizzee Rascal & Mika & was invited to join Will Young on tour as photographer. From there he progressed onto BBC projects before moving into features.He is the official photographer for the Kinemastik international short film festival in Malta & has worked as cinematographer on award winning documentary films. Outside of the film industry his clients include the NHS, Shelter homeless charity, major record labels, branding agencies & magazines. Ali is internationally published & exhibited & has worked all over the world. This wide range of photographic experience allows him to thrive in high pressure situations whilst putting people at ease & greatly informs his work on set. As well as being invisible whilst making sure to go the extra mile to get the shot he is confident working with actors & has undertaken several specials / poster shoots.
