Heather Britton is a multi-instrumentalist and audiovisual composer, filmmaker and video editor, working across multiple mediums and genres. She recently directed, shot and edited a short portrait film exploring the effects of ageing on lifelong musicians as part of her MA in Creative Practice, that she completed with a Distinction from Goldsmiths University of London in 2019. Her extended research interests and practice covers a broad range of topics from video editing to sound design, with a special interest in synchresis and incongruousness in audiovisual composition, as well as being a cinephile with a passion for experimental filmmaking. She recently completed her first audiovisual album EROS, which set out to challenge the traditional album format through audiovisual and personal exploration, with multiple screenings at Goldsmiths University in 2019. Current personal projects include her band Calluna, a psychedelic shoegaze collaboration, and Vulgaris, her experimental audiovisual work. Heather also plays the drums in the bands Krush Puppies and Hired Muscle in addition to directing, shooting and editing multiple music videos.
