" I have worked with Luke at Dneg for more than a decade, most notably on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2 where Luke was an environment lead and latterly on Hobbs and Shaw where Luke was one of the environment supervisors. I have always found Luke to be a most dedicated artist, a capable supervisor and a key member of the team. His core painting and 3D skills are strong and he has a good understanding of issues pertaining to methodology and scalability. Recommended. "Robin Konieczny - Environments HOD at Double Negative TV
" I have worked with Luke on several several projects, and have always been impressed by his wide skill set and knowledge base, he has a great understanding of the whole VFX pipeline, and a wealth of experience to back it up, his work ethic is fantastic and will often go the extra step to get the shot out. Luke is a consummate professional and a very well rounded Env/Gen artist, an asset to any team. "William Foulser - CG Env Gen Supervisor at Double Negative
" I have worked with Luke for many years and all throughout that time he has proven that he will go above and beyond. He is always cheerful and pleasant to work with. Most recently I had the pleasure of working with him on Christopher Nolan's latest film Tenet. He was an excellent member of my team with wide ranging expert level skills. He is a solid team member who you can rely on to produce excellent images time and again. A really lovely guy with a lot of skill and talent. "Saby Menyhei - Lead DMP and EnvTD at Double Negative
" I have had the pleasure to work with Luke in the past on multiple projects (Pacific Rim: Uprising, Wonder Woman 1984, Tenet etc.). He is a brilliant artist, his technical knowledge always amazed me. He was my go-to-person when I needed advice on creating complex scatter setups in Clarisse. He is very hard-working and dedicated. I hope we will have the chance to work together again very soon! "Joel Green - VFX Supervisor at Double Negative
" Luke is a very talented artist with a strong eye and great technical skills. Having worked with him on a few big film projects over the last few years he is always a good fit for big or complex environments. Especially if requiring one off setups or tricky 2D/3D combined workflows as he is a one stop shop for this work and can turn his hand to it all. Always a pleasure to work with and also he is extremely diligent, going above and beyond with field trips and research. "Johnny Grilo - CG Env Gen Supervisor at Double Negative
" I had the pleasure of working with Luke for the last three years at the Dneg. Luke is very senior, and a pool of knowledge , for many years he's been our go-to person for large scale 3D environments,he's an expert of combining 2d and 3D elements .We worked together on several projects and the ones we weren't working together , every now and then I would ask Luke opinion about methodologies . Friendly , respectful and very professional, Luke would be an asset to any team. "Education and Qualifications :-Bournemouth University | Sept 2005 – Oct 2006 |
