I am versatile and enthusiastic; I pride myself on my positive attitude and my ability to remain calm when presented with unusual or unexpected scenarios which not only allows me to maintain a professional appearance but also to analyse the situation and assess the best course of action moving forward. An example of this was when filming for a university project I was the Producer of. Our lead actor was hospitalised on the way home from a day of filming. As a result, we altered the script and constructed a new version from the footage we had.
More recently I have set up my own photography Instagram page called Jellybubble Photography. This profile focuses primarily on nature and landscapes however I have experience shooting a range of different subjects and environments in part due to my university degree’s photography module but also as a result of my own interest in capturing images. While Jellybubble Photography is a relatively new endeavour I have high hopes for what it can accomplish and the kinds of photos posted moving forward.
I am no stranger to an ever-changing work environment evidenced by my time spent volunteering at the Sheffield Doc/Fest and BBC Free Thinking Festival. I can work effectively as both a leader or member of a team and independently. Evidence of this can be taken from the wide range of films and radio programmes I created while at university, for some I held a technical role such as Cinematographer, others I was the Producer and some were solo projects such as the radio documentaries created in my final year.
I have a proven track record illustrated by my portfolio of media created throughout my university career including social media content, radio programming and film production. The skills I have gained include Film Production, Cinematography, Audio Editing, Film Editing, Directing of Sound (film), Photography, Production Assistant, Media Research and Content Creation.
