I am personable and enjoy working in a team, striving to help wherever I can and solve issues quickly and efficiently. I am passionate about the industry, taking pride in a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and improve my skills. My experience in theatre spans both the creative (directing and acting) as well as all associated administrative tasks (ticketing, box office, promotion, flyering, managing a team, organising a rota) showcasing my strong organisational skills. I have demonstrable leadership qualities, and am confident communicating with clients due to my directorial background. As a mentor at Queen Katherine school, I developed my ability to easily adapt to unforeseen situations, leading a drama session for nineteen children. I have studied abroad in both America and Japan, making me adept at assimilating into different environments, testing my diligent work ethic to manage my time alongside my studies to learn Japanese.I hold a bachelor's degree in Theatre and Performance. This taught me to manage my time effectively, developed my professional writing skills, and broadened my sphere of understanding by constantly being introduced to new thought processes. As a Theatre graduate with a strong background in the creative industries, I am able to effectively engage with audiences, understanding their needs within a wider context.Through my work as a freelance actor, I have performed in numerous productions whether this be for theatre or film. This has made me adept in a fast-paced working environment. Due to the unsure nature of this career, I have developed a solid knowledge of the way in which the creative industries work, focusing on my self-branding and taking the initiative to create my own work such as writing and acting in a short film that I filmed independently over lockdown.During my studies I worked as a radio presenter, with one of my main responsibilities being to write and edit the script. In order to improve my writing and editing ability, I am currently working on a sitcom script which I intend to pitch to a production company in the near future.
