George is a highly experienced broadcast television Senior Production Manager.

Originally trained at the BBC, George has worked in live sports, events, drama and documentary broadcasting. Most recently he has worked at BBC Sport as Freelance Production Manager across their cricket slate. He production managed the live BBC2 cricket output and was instrumental in all aspects of the production from budgeting and tracking through to live event planning and delivery from site. George has worked across multiple platforms on linear, digital and radio - live and highlights.  George has extensive experience in building strong relationships with venues and governing bodies.

As well as cricket, in 2022 George production managed The State Opening of Parliament for BBC Studios/Events.  A live broadcast in central London with sensitive access negotiations and in-depth security and clearance protocols.

George was Senior Production Manager at Sky Sports managing and delivering their host broadcast Rugby Union and Cricket slates.  During the Covid lock-down year of 2020, George masterminded the broadcasting of "cricket behind closed doors" in bio-secure venues.  This series won a team BAFTA award and George gained a personal Sky Star Award for his work.  In addition he received a Sky Star award for the 2017 British and Irish Lions Tour to New Zealand of 2017.  The first fully remote production from the southern hemisphere back to the UK.

George has worked as a production manager in documentaries working on "Stadium Stories" and "In My Shoes" for Walk Tall Media for BBC.  The former was BAFTA nominated.

Earlier in his career he worked on network drama and feature films as Production Manager, 1st AD and Location Manager.
