I am an experienced documentary researcher and creative practioner, with an interest in telling stories about the connection between individuals and their cultural and historical place in the world, through written, visual and audio mediums.

Recently, I concluded work as a researcher and a production assistant on the Channel 5/BET UK documentary series My & My Mum (3 x 60), which intimately profiled the relationships between three Black British celebrities and their mothers (Dame Denise Lewis, Eva Apio and David Whitely). During this production, under the instruction of professional camera operators, I trained in basic camera skills with the Sony FS7 II, which I am building upon.

I am also experienced as a development researcher, skilled in producing comprehensive research documents on a range of topics and issues, as well as writing treatments and proposals. 

On the side, I produce short-form audio documentary content, most recently appearing on BBC Radio 4's Short Cuts in 'The Hidden Parts' episode. Read Less
