Experienced Entertainment Series Producer, Series Editor and Edit Producer with a passion for Big Live Events, Shiny Floor Entertainment and Comedy Sketches.
Earlier in 2024, I worked as
CO-EXECUTIVE PRODUCER for ITV on
LOVE ISLAND USA, where I launched and oversaw production of a new spin off series for the format - weekly chat show 'Aftersun' hosted by Love Island royalty Maura Higgins, filmed on location in Fiji – streaming on Peacock in the US and ITVX in the UK. Alongside a record-breaking year for Love Island USA (which became the most streamed original series in America during its run), Aftersun recorded big year on year gains versus the previous spin-off show (Unseen Bits), increasing viewing figures and completion rates, building audiences across its six episode run.
I also returned as
SERIES PRODUCER for the latest
CHILDREN IN NEED Live Appeal Show for BBC Studios - where we led a creative renewal of the show, with an aim to build on viewer donation rates and engagement - ultimately increasing on the night donations for BBC Children in Need by 25% year-on-year (also increasing live viewing by 4%).
Content highlights included a ‘true’ Cbeebies Bedtime Story read by Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman, a collaboration between Bluey and Strictly, the return of Outnumbered for a special sketch, and a live performance from the Gladiators and some special new recruits. There were also incredible music performances featuring young people supported by Children in Need funded projects - like 16 year old Ethan joining the cast of Come Alive: The Greatest Showman, Tanisha duetting with Ella Henderson, and the Children in Need Choir featuring children from 14 projects across the UK and all four nations.
In 2023 I was proud to work as
SERIES EDITOR on the
EUROVISION SONG CONTEST for BBC Studios, where I was Head of the UK Delegation for the landmark event as the UK hosted the contest on behalf of Ukraine. This role involved working with a music management consultancy to select the UK artist and song, leading on the creative for the performance, advising and supporting the record label team throughout the promo campaign, producing a primetime BBC One launch show, working with BBC internal stakeholders in the lead up to the contest and exec producing the UK commentary from Liverpool - producing Graham Norton, Mel Giedroyc, Rylan and Scott Mills from the commentary box.
Other recent
SERIES PRODUCER credits include 'BBC Children in Need' Live Appeal Shows (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), ITV2's 'Love Island Aftersun' (2020, 2021, 2022), the first ever 'Junior Eurovision Song Contest' on the BBC (2022, 2023 for CBBC & BBC One), 'Eurovision Song Contest' in 2024, and brand new live fundraising format 'The Great Comic Relief Prizeathon' (2021 & 2022) for BBC One.
