My name's Darius Midcalf and for the last three years, I've been working freelance for a variety of different companies [Ping-Culture, The British Hemp Company, Impact Schools, amongst many others]. All of these were creating/editing, video content for Websites, Social Media, Advertising or Phone Apps. I've also done content writing for CitrusHR.More recently I've been working full time as Cahootify's Media Content Producer, creating promotional material with interviews with Matthew Graham (Writer for Doctor Who and Life on Mars), Dr Mena Fombo (CEO of Blak Wave Productions) and Freya Billington (Filmmaker/Lecturer), just to name a few.My job also includes coming up and filming/editing new video ideas for our social media, and new ways of getting our brand out there for our audience.I’m skilled in all areas of content producing from initial idea to final output. I know a range of post-production software, a range of different cameras from DLSR to high-end Blackmagic’s, I can pilot a drone proficiently, I’m multi-camera trained using a tricaster, amongst many other skills.
