I studied Sports Production at the National Film Television School where I learnt directing and producing. The skills I developed on this course are transferable to any production. I learnt the conventions of production, basic technical skills such as editing, lighting, sound and camera work. I am confident in writing scripts and can juggle multiple tasks such as writing running orders, movement orders, booking crew, and creating risk assessments.Since graduating I have worked as a Freelance Director, Floor Manager and Logger. I have vast experience working both in a studio and on site.I have worked in sports broadcasting for many years and worked with some of the biggest broadcasters, Sky, Premier League Productions, Amazon Prime, BBC and Eurosport to name a few and on some of the biggest events on the sporting calendar; Wimbledon, The FA Cup, The Winter Olympics, World Cup 2022, Women’s European Football Championships.I am used to using various software programs in my different roles. Logging (other than handwritten) has been done on Media Bank and IPD where I have designed word grid layouts and best practice guides. Floor Managing entails following live and updating running orders on iNews and DiNA. When working for DAZN I had to cue commentators from different regions, with time delays. Part of my role was running in commercials during correct breaks at exact times. This was done through Ice Box, both DCI and Non-DCI.I am confident in all my roles and have very concise communication skills. I liaise with different heads of department well and adept at guiding presenters, commentators and guests. With excellent organisational skills, time management and a very calm demeanour, I also have a very keen eye and ear for detail. I have trained others and lead crews to deliver high quality output across multiple channels.My skillset and work experience mean I am very flexible when faced with difficult or complex situations, communicating effectively and being able to prioritise a workload clearly. I am able to keep to a strict schedule, and within health and safety guidelines. I have a can-do attitude and am very quick to pick up new skills. I have always had the strongest belief that a close and happy team produces the best content. With my strong sense of humour and quirky personality, I work tirelessly in every role to deliver outstanding content and a positive atmosphere for a team to work within. Read Less
