Since earning a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Cinematography at the American Film Institute in 2015, he has been based in Los Angeles. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Cinematographers (ABC). His credits include numerous documentaries and commercials as well as the feature films “Loulou”, “Detained,” and “Young. Wild. Free.” that premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, in which he collaborated as one of the two cinematographers in the movie.
Dennis won Best Cinematography at the Indie Series Awards for his work on the narrative web series “In Absentia,” currently streaming on Amazon Prime. He is also a 2017 Project Involve from Film Independent where he shot the acclaimed short film “Suitable”, premiere on HBO.
Dennis Zanatta has a Brazilian, American and Italian Citizenship and speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian.
