I'm Tam, a London-based filmmaker. Working in advertising in Vietnam for five years, with a directing workshop, two courses in Screenwriting and a BA in Filmmaking, I've freelanced in the film industry in the UK for over a year. As a female Vietnamese switching careers, I'm motivated to grow professionally in Film & TV in the UK.

Before coming to London, I was a Jr Art Director at TBWA\Vietnam (2017 - 2019). Besides leading the art direction of promoting materials, I communicated across many departments to supervise the filmmaking process (storyboarding, pre-production, production and post-production).

After film school (2021), I freelanced in the assistant director department, which entailed collaborating, intense communicating, organising, scheduling and managing the shoot. I recently completed 1st-ADing for an indie feature film in January.
Moreover, I experienced production assistant roles in film production companies and as an office runner at Smuggler UK. Lately, I freelanced as a production runner on a commercial set with Dark Energy Films. 

Furthermore, I took a course in script development organised by Film London last July; simultaneously, I've developed my film projects and proactively looked for collaborations. Read Less
