Hi, I’m Emilia, a freelance producer working across digital factual, social and contributor-led content. I’ve worked with broadcasters and production companies including the BBC, Sky Arts and Future Studios, producing content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and broadcast-led projects.

My experience spans development, casting, producing, shooting and post-production. I particularly enjoy finding strong real-life stories, building relationships with contributors and shaping ideas into engaging, audience-focused content. I’ve worked across sensitive and culturally relevant subjects, supporting contributors through the production process while balancing editorial judgement, contributor welfare and what makes a story connect with an audience.

I also have a strong background in social-first production, from developing hooks and formats to filming, editing, publishing and using audience insights to inform what we make next. As a native Mandarin speaker with experience working in both China and the UK, I can also bring a cross-cultural perspective to productions and development.

Alongside my production work, I hold an MSc in Psychology, which has strengthened my interest in human behaviour, identity and the way people make sense of their experiences. I’m particularly interested in factual ideas that sit at the intersection of people, culture and psychology. Read Less
